On Monday June 21, the grade 8 students will be heading out to the Panorama pond to do a study of a local freshwater pond and the natural environment. While at the pond, students will be observing local vegetation and the pond environment. Upon return to the school, students will have the opportunity to analyze pond water samples. While there is an increased risk of injury due to the proximity of the pond, students will be instructed not to go near the shore or into the water, and will be advised of safety measures upon arrival. Mr. Titopoulos will be carrying first aid supplies in case of emergency. Students will be walking to the site.
