Smiling Mind is non-for-profit web and app-based mediation program developed by psychologists and educators to help bring mindfulness into your life during these current times.
Mindfulness is one of the most effective ways of teaching us to pay attention; to be more mindful.
The benefits are as follows:
Provide children with the skills to better manage stress and resilience
Improve attention and focus
Increase empathy and awareness of negative emotional states
Encourage participants to feel calm, clear and content
Improve learning outcomes via improved focus
This program complements the 'Personal and Social Capability' domain of the Victorian Curriculum
