In this week's video we listen to a few of our current Foundation students and how they can BE A LEARNER at Pakenham Primary School.
When you watch this with your child, remember to discuss the BE A LEARNER behaviours and see if your child can come up with their own.
You can watch the video a few times and ask your child the following:
What did the children say they do to BE A LEARNER?
What do you think are some other ways we can BE A LEARNER?

When you watch this with your child, remember to reinforce the behaviours that are the respectful behaviours as Joey reflects on learning them.
You can pause the video and ask your child about the behaviours Joey is discussing. Some questions you can ask your child whilst watching this video may include:
What did Joey do to show respect?
What are other ways we can show respect?

The video follows a character named Joey who is learning about what being safe looks like at Pakenham Primary School.
Joey has a lot to learn and makes some mistakes on her first day of school. The other students and the teacher help Joey to learn to Be Safe at Pakenham Primary School.
