Congratulation to the winners of Heathmont College Creative Writing Club's Term 1 Creative Writing Competition. As well as being published online each student will receive a book voucher.
The competition was open to all Heathmont College students. Student writing was required to connect to the competition’s theme, Heatwave, in any way they chose. The only limit was their imagination.

Each entry had to have a connection to the one or more of the four inspiration images, and could be in any form the students liked including short story, poem, micro fiction, and more. The competition was open to all Heathmont College students. The stories had to have a post-apocalyptic setting and start with a line from a song of the writer’s choice.
