Our school is committed to providing a vibrant and creative Performing Arts program for all students. Performing Arts fosters self-expression, confidence and creativity while contributing positively to overall academic performance.
Each class has an hour long weekly Performing Arts lesson where they participate in engaging learning experiences combining elements of dance, drama and music. The Performing Arts program develops children’s singing, playing, listening, moving and creating skills, and also offers:
The opportunity to learn circus skills, such as using stilts.
The opportunity to be involved in choir
The opportunity to play Indonesian gamelan and angklung instruments
Community performance opportunities
A school concert every second year (2023, 2025, 2027...)
Artist in Residence programs every second year (2024, 2026, 2028...)
