Advanced Maths

What is advanced maths for a Year 10 Student?

Students who are identified as high-achieving will have the opportunity to complete advanced maths in Year 10 as part of their core maths for the year. This is not a VCE subject, however will provide eligible students the opportunity to challenge themselves as they prepare for a senior mathematics pathway in Year 11/12.

Eligibility for Early Access

The College Pathways Counselling Team will take the following information into consideration:

• Attendance for all subjects at or above 95%.

• Semester reports indicating perfoemance above standard in maths

• Demonstrated maturity and behaviour to undertake an advanced class
