Things Happening
In Term 4, 2024 the Wetlands Team decided to invent board games and online games to help teach students at Carrum PS about our unique local wetland ecosystem and the important role it plays in all of our lives.
We trialled it last Friday and it was a huge success!
In Term 3, 2024 we returned to Monash University and explored their Aboriginal Garden. We discovered that the Garden is like a supermarket that has plants used by indigenous people for food, medicine, and tools. This short film will show you some of things we saw.
In Term 3, 2024 we started to classify the flora that grows in our wetlands and developed charts to help students who investigate the wetlands at our school.
