Are you ready to develop the skills you need for life beyond school? 

Real World Ready is an applied learning elective designed to prepare you for work, further study, and everyday challenges. This hands-on subject focuses on essential Literacy and Numeracy skills, Work-Related competencies, and Personal Development to help you succeed in real-world situations.

Through practical, project-based learning, you will build confidence in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking. You’ll engage in real-life tasks, workplace scenarios, and community-based projects that develop employability skills and personal growth. This subject also explores career pathways, workplace expectations, and industry skills, making learning relevant and meaningful.

Real World Ready is ideal for students considering the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) pathway and those wanting to enhance their employability and life skills through applied learning experiences.

Please note, this elective does not guarantee entry into the VCE Vocational Major in Years 11 and 12
