P&C

Our P & C (Parents and Citizens) Group

The members of Wirreanda Public School P & C would like to extend a warm welcome to all the new families joining our school community.

The P&C hold meetings on a Tuesday afternoon in Week 3 and Week 7 of each term. These meetings are a great way to find out what’s happening within the school community and help Wirreanda continue to grow and thrive.

All parents, grandparents or community members are welcome to attend the meetings. For $1 per year you can become a financial member which allows you to vote on important issues and decisions.

The P&C is the primary community group for consultation and collaboration with the school staff. Our school has a very active P&C Committee.

The funds raised by the P&C are used to purchase resources to enhance student learning. In recent years purchases have included new bubblers with water bottle fillers, giant outdoor fans, playground equipment, iPads, sporting equipment, reading resources as well as resurfacing our sport courts.

Our wonderful P&C also run the school uniform shop.

We are very thankful for our P&C and the hard work they do for our school! We are always looking for helpers for fundraisers, BBQs and other community events, even if you can't make the meetings.
