We are delighted to share with you our 2026 Family Guide—a comprehensive resource designed to support your family’s journey with us this year. This guide contains important information about our school programs, routines, support services, and how we work together to foster a positive and engaging learning environment for every child.
If you were able to join us at our Meet and Greet on Tuesday, February 17, we hope you enjoyed exploring classrooms, meeting your child’s educators, and connecting with our Support Team. For those who couldn’t make it, the Family Guide will help you feel informed and connected as we move through the year ahead.
Please take some time to review the guide and feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher or the school office if you have any questions. We value your partnership and look forward to a wonderful 2026 together at BHPS.

We are thrilled to continue the 'Best You Can Be' program at Barrack Heights this year. Players from the Dragons squad will be visiting our school on Monday next week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our Stage 2 and 3 students to meet and learn directly from elite athletes about the importance of health, wellbeing, and fitness.
The players will engage with students through interactive sessions, inspiring them to develop positive habits and stay active.
Their visit promises to be an exciting and memorable experience that will motivate our students to be their best both in sports and in life.
Barrack Heights Public School is excited to participate in Clean Up Australia Day on 27th February! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to help care for our environment by collecting litter around the school grounds.
Students are reminded to bring a pair of gloves and a disposable bag for rubbish collection. Let’s work together to make our community cleaner and greener! Thank you for your support.
Online ordering for school photos is now open. Emails will be sent to parents later today or tomorrow to those who previously had an account with us. Not all parents will receive an email from MSP. Parents who don’t receive an email by tomorrow afternoon, such as new families or those who didn’t order last year, can simply follow the instructions on the attached flyer to get started.
Regular school attendance is critical for a child's success at school to not only achieve their educational best but increase their career and life options.
BHPS will continue to work in partnership with families to encourage and support regular attendance with our range of positive attendance initiatives.
When your child attends school every day, learning becomes easier and your child will build and maintain friendships with other children. It is also important that your child arrives at school on-time.
Arriving at school and class on time:
ensures that students do not miss out on important learning activities scheduled early in the day
helps students learn the importance of punctuality and routine
gives students time to greet their friends before class
reduces classroom disruption
Lateness is recorded as a partial absence and must be explained by parents.
Please send your uniform order to barrackht-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au so that orders can be put together ready for collection.
