Term 3 is passing by quickly here at OOSH, the cold and very wet days haven’t stopped the children from enjoying their time here . Whilst a large part of our afternoons and mornings have been held inside we have managed to do some outdoor activities under the Cola .

This term has seen us celebrate National OOSH Educators day where the children showed their appreciation to all the hard working educators in our team by writing messages of thanks and making little gift boxes for them and we also enjoyed a special afternoon tea.

Science week was a blast where the children developed their hypothesising skills through an array of science experiments. Some of these experiments included volcanoes from coke and mentos to vinegar and bi carb, we also made swirling milk and bouncing eggs .Fun was had by all .

Here at OOSH we encourage the children to become confident and involved learners and the children have developed their curiosity through 3D art created using canvas , small figurines etc and they were able to create some amazing works of art . They resourced their ideas through connecting with others and sharing ideas with their friends.

We have our Spring vacation care coming out soon with lots of fun ideas programmed with the childrens help . We are looking forward to this and keeping our fingers crossed for some warm sunny days .

We recently attended the Kindergarten Expo and met some new families that are interested in enrolling their children in 2026, any family that has put an enquiry in we will notify you in December when we send our offers out .
