Week 9 Newsletter Wyong OOSH

As the school holidays approach, we have been reflecting on our activities during Term 3 and excitedly planning for our Vacation Care!

Over the last week, we participated in Child Protection Week to discuss and reinforce strategies for the children to stay safe. We had group discussions, made awareness posters and filled out colourful worksheets regarding our top five trusted people that can help us if we feel unsafe. We also discussed how we can stay safe in online games and messaging, and the importance of not giving away personal information online. The children were engaged in the conversations and had lots of insightful and responsible contributions. Well done!

Vacation Care is coming up quickly for the school holidays. We have lots of fun and highly requested activities planned, such as our beloved wheels day with lots of bikes, scooters and rollerskates, movies, cupcake parties and even a puppy therapy day! We look forward to taking advantage of our sunny weather — rain be gone! — to have lots of outdoor play and enjoy the spring sunshine, and enjoy our Sports Gala day as well!
