Learning from Home Resources for our Parents and Students

We trust you will find this a great resource to help you at home.

At this stage, we are showcasing some links that may assist you with home learning... in addition to what our wonderful teachers are already doing with you!

Remember to check your emails each morning as well as in the afternoon.

Always contact your child's teacher for any information or clarity and to request printed material if needed.

Our staff have been working hard to develop a suite of learning resources and options for students to undertake from home. The NSW Department of Education has developed, and will continue to develop, resources and offer professional learning to help teachers with this task. Whether your child is at school or at home, the aim is for all students to access the learning content provided by our school.

We encourage you to access the Learning from Home resource which provides practical advice to parents and carers on how to best create and support a productive learning environment in the home.

You probably have heard lots of information about 'Google Classrooms'. A link is attached so you can become more familiar with this platform. Classes in Years 3 to 6 are using this platform for sharing their learning.

What is a Google Classroom?

Stage 3 (Years 5 & 6) classes are also starting to use the Zoom Education platform to connect with their teachers and peers. Please note that this is a pilot program at our school, and is only offered to senior primary students at this point in time.
