Now more than ever, we are committed to offering you a safe environment that follows Health Department protocols towards defeating covid 19. We have refined our cleaning and safety standards and are going above and beyond so you can stay with confidence. From the time that you arrive, you'll see advice and information on maintaining social distancing in lifts and all public areas. The welcome from our team is as friendly as usual whilst ensuring a safe distance. We have introduced additional check-in requirements including a Covid travel form which contributes to the safety of every guest. We encourage you to download the Covid safe app and of course contactless card payment is easy for you and safer for all.

YHA's quality reputation is built on having a high standard of cleanliness throughout all of our properties. Our housekeeping teams have undergone Covid specific training. There are extra daily cleaning protocols to ensure all high-traffic areas and surfaces are frequently cleaned with recommended cleaning agents. Our cafes are following food service guidelines with heightened cleaning protocols.

You'll find hand sanitizer at reception and there are hand-washing facilities and soap throughout the building in bathrooms and kitchen areas.

Lounges and relaxation areas have always been at the heart of YHA and there are plenty of reminders to maintain safe distancing. There are also limits on the total number of people in these spaces at one time so we can all spread out safely.

Self catering is a great option if you're on a budget or if you prefer to prepare your own meals. We have more frequent cleaning of these areas whilst the generously sized kitchens assist with social separation.

Accommodation choices allow you to choose a private ensuite room for your traveling companions or family group. Most YHA properties have contactless keycard access.

And when it does come time to relax and take in the local views, our outdoor areas are open and under the distancing requirements offer your space and quiet areas.
