What if a student needs more help? You need to ask.
Contact the Subject Teacher or Head Teacher. Make a time to discuss the issues you are struggling with. Work with your parents to come up with a plan that can be implemented at home and school and stick to it.
Many subjects offer holiday workshops to support HSC students - make sure you attend these.
Learning Support offers lunchtime workshops on Tuesday and Thursday to help anyone who needs help

Senior students can see Learning Support about joining Wednesday Sport Homework Club during Sport for help with a task or subject
Maths has Homework Club on a Thursday afternoon after school supported by high achieving maths Students.
You may need more 1-1 or small group assistance at home. Ask your parents to read the article below to see how you go about finding and selecting a tutor. Remember you employ the tutor and should ensure your child to brings any school work to the session for additional explanation and practice. Ask for referrals and negotiate the price. Perhaps a few sessions for one term will build the required confidence and skills.
