Building student aspirations

In the SHAC, we’re dedicated to preparing our students for a successful future—because when kids are happy and supported, they’re ready to thrive.  

Complementing Careers periods through the year, all Year 10 students are given the opportunity to participate in work experience during Term 4. This valuable program helps students develop practical skills for future employment and supports them in making informed decisions about their career paths. Additionally, we offer students the chance to complete training for the General Construction Induction White Card Course right here at school, opening doors to work opportunities in the building industry.

Our commitment to pathways education continues through Years 11 and 12. Every student has access to our Careers Adviser in the SHAC, providing  personalised guidance to help them explore further education and training options. This support encourages a smooth and confident transition from high school to the next stage in their learning and career journey.
