We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Richmond High School - Richmond Agricultural College, a community school that truly values each and every single child. At Richmond High School we pride ourselves on ensuring each child is known, valued and cared for and we are committed to delivering innovative programs which provide students opportunities to develop as lifelong learners.
Starting Year 7 is an exciting time for your child and at Richmond High School we are here to support you every step of the way. Our staff will provide the utmost amount of care for your child as they transition into a new and exciting chapter of their educational journey and the programs we have on offer to support this transition, will ensure they feel supported, confident and ready for the new experiences of High School.
This website has been developed in conjunction with our Year 5/6 Information Evening that is held in Term 1 to ensure our families are provided with the necessary information to support their son or daughter's transition.

A message from Kris Beazley - Principal COE
The Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Education - Richmond Agricultural College is part of the dual campus model and works in partnership with Richmond High School to support our students in the AgSTEM selective and AgSTEM specialty streams. At the Centre we offer a unique learning experience where students engage with their specialised curriculum in partnership with industry and tertiary experts. Through their Applied Learning, Design Thinking, HSIE and Agricultural programs students are immersed in a transdisciplinary learning program that develops both their academic knowledge and personal capabilities, whilst addressing authentic, real world issues.
Richmond Agricultural College was established in December 2019, with its first student intake commencing in 2021. The College is a dual campus educational model that delivers a unique AgSTEM educational program for students in the AgSTEM Speciality and AgSTEM Selective streams. Students in these streams spend three days a week at the Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Education campus and two days a week at the Richmond High School campus. In additional to meeting the core syllabus requirements for students in NSW, students in the AgSTEM streams also complete a full program of Applied Learning, Design Thinking, Agriculture under our unique transdisciplinary, partnered learning model.
In addition to the Richmond High School campus Orientation Program for all of Year 7, our AgSTEM students will also be provided with AgSTEM specific transition information unique to the Centre of Excellence campus and our specialised programs. This information will be communicated to students and families through our regular Transition Bulletins.
Students who are enrolled in the CoE will have the opportunity in to also take part in our CoE Campus tours and site inductions in O Week. This program will include inductions to both the Western Sydney University and TAFE campuses, curriculum inductions and the opportunity to connect with our AgSTEM 'clubs' program.
We are excited to welcome the AgSTEM students and their families to the College and look forward to working with you in the future.
