This week we celebrated our amazing Stage 2 students who achieved 100% homework completion for Term 4 with a special space-themed fun day. The children had a fantastic time travelling through “space” and taking part in a range of intergalactic games, including Asteroid Dodge, Planet Balance, and Meteor Toss. We’re excited to keep the momentum going, and students can look forward to more fun and engaging homework challenges as we hea into next year! 

This term we had Uncle Shayne visit and share his amazing Dharawal knowledge with out Yarn Up students. He took us on a walk on Country in the bush around the school. You can view a recording of this walk here: https://bcove.video/3YwK8IV

Yarn Up students have also been busy this semester collecting, sanding and painting thier own clapping sticks. They thought about what was important to them and their Country, and used colours and patterns to represent this on their sticks.

This semester, Stage 3 students researched a country for geography. For STEM, students turned this research into a virtual tour of the country, using coding, Google Maps 3D images and a program called Delightex. You can view some of their virtual tours here:
