2021 State Band Championship
19 and 20 March 2022
The 2021 NSW State Band Championships will be held on the weekend of the 19th & 20th of March 2022. The venue is the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, 597 High St, Penrith NSW 2750 in Penrith.
We are pleased to announce for our NSW bands that there is now a hub in North Sydney for the 2022 Australian National Band Championships. Run by Danny Alexander and his team at Sydney City Brass, bands from NSW and the ACT will be able to perform in the beautiful Independent Theatre at Wenona School. Only 5km north of the Sydney CBD, the Independent Theatre boasts good parking options, as well as a number of restaurants and bars for patrons over the Easter long weekend. The Sydney hub will run on Saturday April 16 and Sunday 17.
