  • Signing into your browser allows you to have bookmarks/favourites synced across devices.

  • If you have to replace your device, this is the easiest way to ensure you quickly retrieve all of your most recently or most frequently used sites.

  • OneDrive (Microsoft 365) and Google Drive (Google Workspace) both provide sync clients for your laptop.

  • Use firstname.lastname#@education.nsw.gov.au as your username when signing in.

  • Use these to ensure your file versions are properly managed, and be able to revert to an earlier version if needed.

OneDrive

  • OneDrive is preinstalled on Windows 10.

  • On macOS it comes part of the Microsoft 365 desktop apps.

  • Turn on OneDrive Folder Backup to send your Documents, Pictures and/or Desktop to OneDrive.

Google Drive

  • Download the Google Drive for Desktop client

  • Follow instructions on installation.

  • Google Drive content can appear in Microsoft Teams as well.
