This promote confidence, broadens horizons and develops a greater understanding of how English is structured.

Various materials will be used, songs, games, YouTube, magazines, modern textbooks.
Students will be encouraged to have penfriends through our relationship with Yamada Nishi High School in Osaka
Possible excursions to restaurants, youth forums and appropriate foreign language films to develop cultural appreciation
Possible participation in exchange programs to France and Japan at the end of Year 10.
Use of Education Perfect for work at personal pace, and to memorise vocabulary
Research of relevant cultural issues and the opportunity to develop ICT skills
With engagement, students can expect fluency in well-rehearsed topics. However, like learning an instrument, learning is gradual and dependent on effort and practise.
