Welcome to the Branxton Public School transition to school site.
Branxton Public School is situated in a semi rural setting in the lower Hunter Valley, on the traditional lands of the Wonnarua people. With a strong history of over 150 years of education, the school works in partnership with parents and carers to ensure all students achieve their personal best.
At Branxton Public School we believe every child should be challenged to learn and continually improve through the delivery of evidence based whole school practices. Teachers, parents and students work collaboratively to maintain our school expectations of Respect, Responsibility and Personal Best.

At Branxton Public School, our ‘Little Pups’ transition program helps 2027 Kindergarten students build friendships and enjoy weekly play-based learning, guided by experienced teachers. This permission form must be completed, including two emergency contacts and any medical information, to ensure your child’s safety and care. Spaces are limited, so please reserve a session soon!

Little Pups is a wonderful way to support children as they move from Preschool to Kindergarten, helping them feel confident and ready to thrive in their new school environment. Through fun activities that encourage early literacy, numeracy, and social skills, your child will gain valuable tools for the classroom while also feeling a strong sense of belonging at Branxton Public School.
Our Little Pups sessions take place in the welcoming OOSH hub at BPS. You can choose to join us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays, with your child attending the same day each week for 10 weeks during Term 3. The first session starts on Tuesday, 21st July (Week 1), and runs through to Friday, 25th September (Week 10).

School Bytes is the offical app of Branxton Public School. This app allows parents to access our school calendar, view information on upcomming events, submit absences, complete permission forms and excursion notes as well as access documents like school reports, all in the one convenient app. To ensure you don't miss a thing, please turn on/enable notifications.
Flexi Schools
Flexi Schools
Flexi Schools is operated by our School P&C. Through this app you can access our school uniform shop and canteen. At our little pups session, your child is welcome to wear our Little Pups shirt, which can be ordered on Flexi Schools.
SeeSaw
SeeSaw
SeeSaw is a communication app, giving you access to your child's teacher and some of their learning.
Please note; SeeSaw is not monitored at all times. Please contact the school if you are planning on collecting your child early.
