This lady is dressed up with hat and gloves as she goes to the Lane Cove shops in 1918. In the photo is a horse and cart, which was a popular form of transport and a way to have groceries delivered. She is walking along Longueville Road at the corner of Burns Bay Road and at the end is an electric tram terminal which brought goods and people there.
