Cheese and Vegemite

Hatched: approximately 29 August 2026 

Cheese and Vegemite are two Silkie chicks who joined the Hume Hatchery when they were less than one day old.

They weren't hatched from our eggs, but thanks to Tash from Cheeky Chicken Hobby Farm, we've been able to adopt them as honorary members of the Hume Hatchery! They'll keep our chicks company when they hatch and become part of our little flock. 

Cheese is our fluffy buff Silkie, and Vegemite is our little black Silkie.
