At Mascot Public School we are lucky to have chickens and a vegetable garden as part of our school's commitment to educating our students on ways to be sustainable in their daily lives.
EALD - English as an Additional Language or Dialect
LaST - Learning and Support Teacher
We have wonderful support staff that ensure the additional needs of all students are being met. These teachers work with small groups of students inside and outside the classroom.
We have a school counsellor who works Monday and Wednesday at Mascot Public School:
The school counsellor office is located in the Kindy Block, bottom floor.
School counsellors are registered teachers and psychologists who can do psychometric assessments, offer counselling and triage to services.
School counsellors work as part of the Learning and Support Team and their work is prioritised by this team.
If you have concerns regarding your child please speak to your classroom teacher first who can then make a referral to the Learning and Support Team for school counsellor assistance.
