2024 Rolling Hills Festival Recap
2024 was our most successful festival yet! The quality of short films produced by our students was incredibly impressive. Both Dungog Mayor Mr Digby Rayward and Deputy Mayor Ms Alexandria Carruthers were on hand to watch the films at our glitzy red-carpet premiere. Massive congratulations to Dungog PS, who won Best Film with their excellent Backwards Day!
A special thanks to Brimble Rail, IGA Dungog and Clarence Town Hardware, whose generous sponsorship made the event possible, and to The Friends of the James Theatre, who were so helpful and friendly to all our students and parents, and who donated the prizes for our new Rising Star awards. Thanks as well to all the teachers and other school staff who worked to get the films made and to get the students to and from the theatre. The kids appreciate all your efforts!
All of the 2024 films can now be found in the Films tab of this website.
If you'd like to join up with our little committee for 2025, we'd love to have you - you don't need to be a teacher or an expert in filmmaking, just someone who can volunteer some time to help get the event organised. If you're interested please email Lachlan at lachlan.prior5@det.nsw.edu.au.
