The Explicit and systematic teaching (EAST) Schools Network

The Explicit and Systematic Teaching (EaST) Schools Network is a collective of diverse NSW Department of Education schools, united by a shared commitment to evidence-informed best practice in education. Working collaboratively, the EaST Schools’ key objective is to transform lives through learning, with evidence-informed practices that align with the science of learning and Explicit Instruction.

EaST Schools Mathematics is a collaborative project across NSW Department of Education schools. The Units of Work have been developed through valuable contributions from the following schools:
