2026: Stage 6 VET Courses

Dapto High School has one of the largest Vocation Education and Training course options out of all the schools in the Illawarra and South Coast. We pride ourselves on the quality of vocational education that we offer onsite at Dapto High School. Completing a VET course at Dapto High School means that you can obtain an Nationally recognised, industry qualification while studying. 

VET Trainers
Most of our VET Trainers are from an industry background, maintaining connections to industry to keep them up to date with their skills, knowledge and advances in tools, machinery and materials. 

Fees
All of our VET Courses have a fee associated, don't let this be a determining factor when selecting your senior courses. Fee assistance is available. 

Workplacement
The majority of our VET courses have a mandatory 70 hours of workplacement. This means students MUST complete 35 hours in their Preliminary year and 35 hours in their HSC year.  Refer to each specific course page for further detail.
