For over 30 years, the Daceyville Public School Big Band Bash has brought together young musicians from public primary schools across Sydney to celebrate the joy of music-making.

This much-loved annual event provides students with an opportunity to showcase their musical talents, perform in front of a live audience, and experience the excitement of playing as part of a school band. It is a celebration of dedication, teamwork, creativity and the vibrant music programs that thrive in our public schools.

What began more than three decades ago has grown into a cherished tradition, creating lasting memories for students, teachers and families. The DPS Big Band Bash continues to honour this rich history while inspiring the next generation of young musicians.
