In line with NESA requirements, students may apply for illness or misadventure if circumstances beyond their control have affected their ability to complete or perform in an assessment task.
These circumstances must occur immediately before or during the task and must be supported by appropriate, independent evidence (e.g. medical documentation). Applications must be submitted in person within five school days of the task, using the official school Illness/Misadventure Application Form.
Students are responsible for initiating this process and must clearly explain how their performance was impacted. The school will assess each application in accordance with its Assessment Policy and NESA guidelines to ensure fairness and consistency for all students.
