Creative and Performing Arts

Welcome parents, caregivers and students to Gorokan High School Creative and Performing Arts.

The Creative and Performing Arts Faculty at Gorokan has had a long tradition of excellence.

Students undertaking a CAPA subject for their HSC, have always attained their highest HSC mark in their Creative and Performing Arts subject. In both Music and Visual Arts, students are often placed in the top two bands for the HSC.

In 2019, two Music students placed in the top 10% of the state achieving a Band 6 result. One of those students was nominated to perform at the prestigious Encore showcase for HSC Music students. Unfortunately, due to COVID 19, this performance did not go ahead.

Creative and Performing Arts students at Gorokan High school develop skills and attributes that employers value such as:
