Camps are an exciting time for our students, and it’s natural to feel a little nervous too.
Discover everything you need to know about your camp accommodation on this page.
When you come to Brewongle Environmental Education Centre for an overnight camp, you’ll stay in our wonderful bush cabins.
Take a look through some photos to see what your sleeping arrangements will be like.
Each cabin is named after Australian wildlife: Wombat, Goanna, Emu, and Kangaroo.
Brewongle has 4 cabins which can comfortably accommodate 50 students.
Students “glamp” by sleeping on comfortable stretcher beds.
Each cabin has an air conditioning unit for student comfort during the warmer and cooler months.
Each cabin has its own shower cubicle located in the ablutions block (excluding the additional accommodation options).
Additional accommodation options are available - see below for further information.
Comfortable student numbers provide extra distance between beds. Bags can be stored beside beds with ample room to move around cabin.
Maximum student numbers are spatially tighter. Bags will need to be stored under beds and there is limited room to move around cabin. Only recommended for one night camps.
Students will sleep on our camp stretchers, so don’t forget to bring your sleeping bag and pillow.

Additional sleeping options to cater for more students are available, however they are a bit removed from the main camp facilities. If using the additional camping options, Brewongle can facilitate a camp up to 70-80 students.
If you wish to utilise the additional sleeping options, please discuss the student requirements with Brewongle staff.
