When can you start to learn to umpire?
You can start learning about the rules at any age. Most umpires take the court around the age of 13 years as this means they'll be a few years above the young players they are umpiring.
What do I need to do to learn to umpire?

Practice umpiring your team at training
Contact the club Umpire Convenor to let them know of your interest. Click the EOI form here to register your interest to umpire in 2025.
Attend club umpire training sessions
