The Engadine Zone Athletics Carnival was on at Barden Ridge on the 13th of August. Our students gave their best and cheered on their schoolmates, doing us all proud. We had 13 students qualify for the Sydney East (Regional) Carnival at Homebush on the 17th September, a massive achievment. Congratulations to our senior boys and junior girls relay teams, as well as Nicholas (discus), Olivia H (100m), Rory (100m, 200m and long jump), Kendall (discus), Bryson (100m), Channing (100m, 200m, 800m, 1500m, high jump, long jump), Scarlett (100m) and Ollie (100m). Extra special congratulations to Rory and Channing - age champions at the carnival, The only two records broken on the day were by Channing -  he ran the 11 years 800m in 2:20 (previous record 2:28) and shaved an incredible 48 seconds off the 1500m record, running it in 4:44!
