1. What is the Best Start Assessment?
The Best Start Assessment is is a state-wide assessment that helps teachers to understand the literacy and numeracy skills of each student at the beginning of Kindergarten, to best support all children in the classroom. 2. How many children in a Kindergarten classroom?
We have approximately 20 students in each Kindergarten class. At Anzac Park, we co-teach in learning hubs for some Key Learning Areas, with two teachers and two classes learning together. This means there will be approximately 40 children in one learning hub at some times of the day.
3. Where can you buy second hand uniforms?
Second hand uniforms are sold once a term at the school. We are holding a second hand uniform sale during the second Kindergarten Orientation session, on Wednesday 13th November.
4. When do students need to wear their sport uniform?
At the beginning of next year, your child's Kindergarten teacher will communicate their sport day, which is the day they are required to wear their sport uniform. Your child's library day will also be confirmed at the beginning of the year, which is the day your child will need their library bag to borrow books from our school library.
