Make a bird stem activity

Have a look at the story "How to make a bird" in the story the girl gathers bones, feathers, shells and stones from her environment.

Use natural materials to create your own bird. You could use leaves, twigs, branches. I will come onto your classroom teams on Thursday to see your designs. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can create.

STAGE 1 STEM CHALLENGE WEEK 8

Shadow monster challenge

Your STEM challenge this week is to make a shadow monster. You will need to find an area outside that gets lots of sun. Use a camera, phone or iPad and use your own shadow as the outline of the monster. Move objects such as rocks, grass, sticks and leaves. To create a face on your monster. Upload your photos of your shadow monster to your dojo page. I look forward to seeing your creations.

WEEK 9 STEM CHALLENGE - YOUR OWN CREATION

CREATE something using A WATER BOTTLE or used container

You will need a water bottle or empty container. You can use any items that are in your house to turn the bottle or container into something. This activity will show how creative you can be. I look forward to seeing your designs.
