Sentral for parents App
At Sir Joseph Banks High School, we value the 'parents, teachers and students' approach to academic progress and social wellbeing, we look forward to working with you to support your child achieving their best. Our school utilises the Sentral Student and Parent Portal and App , to provide both parents and students discreet information about each student's progress at school. In time, it also provides you with direct messaging with teachers and key staff.
You can download the app now and you will be linked to your student on their first day with us. We will be providing you reminders and equipment lists through this in the lead up to starting Year 7.
This video will provide you with a guide on how to login and get started - Video
If this is your first time using the portal, you will be prompted for an access key. Skip this step for now as the access key will be issued at the start of 2025.

Uniform can be purchased from either School Locker or Lowes Bankstown. Please find below information about both.
For Year 7 and 8, students wear PDHPE uniform on their integrated sport day and their PDHPE practical lesson day. Based on this we should suggest purchasing two PDHPE uniforms and 2-3 standard uniform to get you through the week. Students will be advised what days to wear their PDHPE uniform when they receive their timetable.
