SHORT & CURLY is a fast-paced fun-filled ethics podcast for kids and their parents, with questions and ideas to really get you thinking. It asks curly questions about animals, technology, school, pop culture and the future.
This is a weekly podcast of funny stories for kids. There are side-splitting versions of my own fractured fairy tales. They're written for 7-11 year olds but these are tales the whole family can enjoy.

Book Week 2021
This year Book Week is from 21 August to 27 August. To celebrate our love of reading and the magical places reading takes us to, we have shared a few different activities that can be done at home. These are optional activities and you can choose which you will do. We hope you will join in as many activities as you can and share photos and videos with your teacher.

This year the CBCA Book Week was virtually different from what we have previously done. I would like to thank all students, teachers and carers for the amazing costumes and baking creations. Students looked FANTASTIC. Well Done!

Magical Maps - 23 Aug @10am
This is a virtual excursion for Stages 2 and 3 students
Put the ‘creative’ back into creative writing — turn a blank piece of paper into a map of your own magical land! In the fantasy novel tradition, students will tell an epic adventure story by creating a hero character to journey across their map, encountering dangerous obstacles and mythical beasts along the way.
This is for Stage ES1 and Stage 1 students
Join celebrated children’s author Libby Hathorn and her daughter, Lisa Hathorn-Jarman, as they share the hilarious tale of a feisty child and her perplexed parents from their CBCA award winning picture book, No Never.
