Process of District Curriculum Development

This presentation will feature Dr. Amy Himes, Curriculum & Instruction Facilitator of Secondary Science and K-12 World Languages at Millard Public Schools. Amy shares how her district organized and implemented a curriculum process and how remote learning has impacted the curriculum.

Amy Himes has served in three of the four largest school districts in Nebraska, since 1992 (LPS, PLCS, MPS). Dr. Himes holds a BA from Mills College in Oakland, California; a M.Ed in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; and an EdD in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Dr. Himes earned National Board Certification in 2008 and holds five active certificates in Nebraska:
