Kelly Garcia, Spanish Instructor in ESU 5's remote learning program, brings ESU 5 colleagues Dr. Nick Ziegler, Brittany Andrews and Christina Schroeder to share Digital Age Pedagogy in World Language Education. Dr. Ziegler will share an overview of digital age pedagogy. The team will illustrate it, sharing a unit plan that incorporates those concepts.

A veteran educator, Kelly has taught Spanish in Virginia, North Carolina and Nebraska. She has also taught English while living near Mérida, Yucatán, México. Her area of concentration is curriculum development for remote learning.

Nick has been with ESU 5 since 2011. He is involved in multiple statewide initiatives directly impacting ESU 5 districts including the statewide BlendEd Pilot and the Future Ready Nebraska Framework.
