Contest Rules

Don't forget to review the contest rules. We'd hate for a great, creative final product to miss out because of a silly thing - like going over the 3 minute mark.

The STLP Cinemania Contest is open to all student video makers and filmmakers, and is free to enter. Multiple submissions per team are not permitted.

• All entries must be three minutes or less. Films over three minutes will not be accepted.

• All eligible teams must be officially registered for STLP State Championship prior to contest.

• Entries must be submitted as per instructions sent out the day of the official release of elements.

• Videos must include as many of the required elements, as posted in this official Cinemania Element Release.

• 2 awards per grade grouping will be given as judges choice awards, in adherence of the rubric for K-5, 6-8, 9-12.

• All entries must be received by the official time and date as per the instructions sent out the day of the official release of elements.

• All submitted videos are showcased online. Winning videos may be showcased at the Awards Ceremony.
