One on One Consultations

Posted: Thursday 25th May 2023

Work towards the new Education Strategy for the Cook Islands is now in full swing.  Many of you participated in the Inception Workshop, held Wednesday 10th May, which officially kicked off our external engagements with government, private sector and NGO partners.  Thank you again for your support.

As shared at the Inception Workshop, a series of further opportunities for our Ministry to engage with our partners and their respective teams would be scheduled, allowing opportunity to share findings of the engagements so far and seek your input.

As part of this process, the MOE team, led by Planning & Development Director, Anna Roumanu, and supported by consultant Rima Moeka’a, will be conducting one-on-one consultations.

The consultations aim to provide a platform for stakeholders and interested parties to contribute their valuable insights and perspectives. The sessions will cover a brief background of the current Education Master Plan (2008 – 2023) evaluation and sector analysis, as well as the scope of the current education sector. We are particularly interested in hearing your input on possible partnerships and your vision for the new Education Strategy.

We cordially invite you to participate in these consultations which will be scheduled between Monday, 5th June and 30th June 2023, and arranged at a time convenient for you between 9am-11am or 1pm-3pm.

Each consultation meeting is expected to last for 40-60 minutes. We are flexible in terms of meeting venues and times, and will make arrangements to suit your availability.

If you are interested in participating in these consultation meetings, please send an email expressing your interest to Anna Roumanu at PDDirector@education.gov.ck.  We will also be reaching out to agencies and partners on their interest to meet.

Additionally, if you have any queries or require further information, please do get in touch.

We look forward to engaging with you very soon.
