Chairman’s Certificate of Honours: Awarded to students achieving an aggregate of 80% or more in the home exams, signed by the Chairman of the School Management Committee.
Institute’s Certificate of Honours: Awarded to students achieving an aggregate of 75 to 79.9% in the home exams, signed by the Principal of the School.
Chairman’s Certificate of Recognition: Awarded to those teachers in the department, if they could secure 7 % above the national mean mark in their respective subjects in the board exams, signed by the chairman of SMC.
Institute’s Certificate of Recognition: Awarded to those teachers in the department, if they could secure 5% above the national mean mark in their respective subjects in the board exams, signed by head of the school.
HRH Dasho Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck Award: Instituted by HRH Dasho Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck for BCSE academic topper in the home exams.
James Memorial Award for BHSEC Academic Topper: Instituted by Mr. and Mrs. Manna in loving memory of their beloved son late James Manna for the BHSEC Academic Topper in the home exams.
Merit certificates to the Subject Toppers: Awarded to students achieving a minimum aggregate of 80% in the home examinations.
Best BHSEC Award: Sponsored by the TOSA-OY, is an award awarded to the best BHSEC student selected on five-point criteria viz. leadership, academics, participation, discipline/conduct and other contributions.
Best BCSE Award: Awarded to the best BCSE student of the year selected on the five-point criteria viz. leadership, academics, participation, discipline/conduct and other contributions.
Teachers’ Award: Cash prize of Nu.10,000/ sponsored by the teachers for the Whole Bhutan topper of 10 and 12in the board exams and Nu.6000/ and 4000/ to the second and third respectively by the school.
Certificate of Academic Excellence for 9 & 11: Instituted in 2009 and awarded to one academic topper each in grades 9 and 11 for home exams, signed by the honorable Sherig Lyonpo, MoE.
Certificate of Progress: Instituted in 2013 and awarded to students of Classes 9 and 11 for making remarkable progress (>20%), signed by the Principal of the school.
