It explores themes of power, loyalty, and betrayal through a unique fantasy world. Title: Thirteen Ways Of Looking At A Blackbird Poem
Author: Wallace steven
genre: Poem
Reflection/Thought/critical analysis
The poet says that amidst twenty snowy mountains, the only thing that was moving was the eye of the blackbird. The poet was of three minds, thinking three different things, like a tree which has three blackbirds. The blackbird danced about in the autumn winds, it was a small part of the theatrical stage that is autumn. A man and a woman are one, a man and a woman and a blackbird are one- by this the poet means that all creatures are one before nature. The poet does not know whether to prefer the beauty of inflections or the beauty of innuendos- whether to prefer the blackbird whistling or the silence that comes just after that. Icicles that filled the long window resemble barbaric glass.
Title: Road not taken
Author: Robert frost

Reflection/Thought/critical analysis
the poem explains about the road not taken summary in short. This poem signifies a situation where the poet was walking down a road that had a diversion. He had to choose between the two paths. Since he was a single person, he could choose only one of the two paths. The wood was yellow which represents a world full of people who have been residing for many years. It tells us to be careful in making decisions in life. One should be very wise and careful while making choices as our choices shape our future. Also, once we make a decision, it is very difficult to change and start again. One bad decision could make us regret it throughout life. All this depends on the choices we make today.
Title: If I never forever endeavor
Author: Hayden
Genre: Non- fiction
Reflection/Thought/critical analysis
This book is about a bird who didn't yet know how to fly.
The bird has to decide if it will try to fly, but it was not sure if it wants to. The bird thought, "If I never forever endeavor" then I won't ever learn. On one wing, he worries he might fail and on the other wing he thinks of how he may succeed. He worries that if he tries, he may get lost in the world. That makes him want to stay in his nest where he's safe.
My favorite part is that the bird tried and learned that she could fly. I also liked that I read this book because it gave me a chance to talk to mom about making mistakes and how I don't like making them. Then I learned they are good and part of learning.
I recommend this book would help other children to learn that trying new things can be scary, but sometimes when we try, we can find things that make us happy too. And this book will help others know that mistakes are okay and part of learning.
Title: pearl
Author: Oliver Tearle
Genre: Poem
Reflection/Thought/critical analysis
Pearl is an elegy for a dead child, a daughter who died at just two years of age. She is the ‘pearl’ of the poem’s title, and the poet uses this image for her throughout. The poem is narrated by the grieving parent of the lost child, who tells the reader of how he lost his pearl in a garden. After he falls asleep, his spirit is transported to a bright and wonderful land. he sees a beautiful maiden, dressed in white (a symbol of purity, of course) and wearing pearls – the spirit form of his lost daughter. Telling him that he should not grieve for her death, the maiden reminds the poet that though the earthly form dies, the spiritual form will be kept alive in heaven, thanks to the Lord.
