Mr. Sonam Phuntsho is a dedicated and experienced teacher educator currently serving as a Mathematics teacher at Jakar Higher Secondary School. With a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success, he has been in the teaching profession for the past 19 years. Throughout his career, he has inspired countless students through his engaging teaching methods and deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
He holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Mathematics from Samtse College of Education, one of Bhutan's premier teacher education institutions. His academic background, combined with his practical classroom experience, has enabled him to contribute meaningfully to the field of education.
Mr. Sonam is also an active contributor to educational research. He has published several papers in national and international journals, reflecting his interest in advancing pedagogical practices and sharing insights with the wider academic community. His research often focuses on improving mathematics instruction and exploring innovative strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
