Respected director,
I am writing to request a leave of absence from work for five days, starting from August 1st to August 6th . The reason for my leave is, I have to go to attend a doctors appointment in Bangkok, which requires my full attention and presence.
I have completed all my pending work and have handed over my responsibilities to my colleagues to ensure a smooth transition in my absence. I will also be available on phone and email if there are any urgent matters that require my attention.
I understand that my absence may cause inconvenience, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I will make sure to complete all my pending work and catch up on any missed work as soon as I return.
Thank you for your understanding and support. Please let me know if you require any further information or clarification.
Sincerely,
Dorji Namgyel

Dear Charo,
Hey there, how's it going? I hope this letter finds you doing well. It's been a while since we've caught up, so I thought I'd take a moment to write to you and fill you in on what's been going on in my life.
First things first, I just want to say thanks for always being there for me. Your support and guidance mean the world to me, and I feel so lucky to have you as my dad. I know we don't always see eye-to-eye on everything, but I appreciate that we can always have honest conversations and work through our differences.
So, what have I been up to lately? Well, work has been really busy, but I'm enjoying the challenges that come with my job. I've also been trying to stay active and get outside more often. I've been hiking a lot and even started going to a local yoga class. It's been great for my mental and physical health.
On a more personal note, I've been thinking a lot about my future and what I want to do with my life. I know I still have a lot to figure out, but I feel like I'm starting to get a better sense of what's important to me and what I want to prioritize moving forward. It's exciting, but also a little scary at times.
Anyway, I don't want to ramble on too much. I just wanted to check in and let you know that I'm doing alright. I miss you and hope we can catch up soon.
Take care, my friend.
Love,
Sonam Norbu Tshering
