About Japan

Demon slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba(鬼滅の刃)

Tanjiro Kamado (炭治郎)

Tanjiro is the main character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Tanjiro is a teenager who goes on a quest to become a Demon Slayer to help his sister, Nezuko, who was turned into a demon after his family was killed by Muzan Kibutsuji. Tanjiro Learns water breathing from Sakonji Urokodaki after being sent to mount Sagiri by Giyu Tomioka. He then switches to mostly Sun breathing when he remembers his family dance after being almost killed by lower moon 5 Rui. In the next arc also the Mugen Train Ark. He meets Kyojuro Rengoku who he takes a liking to along with his friends Inosuke Hashibira and Zenitsu Agatsuma. Rengoku and the young teenagers manage to kill lower moon 1. When they finally think they are safe Rengoku passes away due to being punched in the stomach by upper moon 3 Akaza. as akaza runs away tanjiro is infuriate and calls akaza a coward and throws his nichirin blade at the upper moon Rengoku gives words of wisdom and passes.

Nezuko Kamado (ねずこ)

Nezuko is a fictional character in Koyoharu Gotouge's manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Nezuko and her older brother Tanjiro Kamado are the sole survivors of an incident through which they lost their entire family due to the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji, with Nezuko being transformed into a demon, but unexpectedly still showing signs of human emotion and thought. After an encounter with Giyu Tomioka, a demon slayer, Tanjiro begins his quest to help his sister turn back into a human and avenge the death of his family. Nezuko's character was created to make Tanjiro's character more complex, as he struggles to reconcile with his sister being a demon.Critical response to Nezuko has been positive due to how unconventional it was for the narrative to have her kind of character as a demon, as well as how her fighting abilities adapt and grow as the series progresses.
