Name: Wolf.
Height/Weight: Between 10 and 120 cm/ 80 – 85 cm. A male weighs 30-80 and a female weighs 23-55.
Diet: Gray Wolves are carnivores – meaning they eat deer, elk, sheep, goats, caribou, bison, and muskox. Wolves also eat rodents, beavers and fish.
Reproduction: Viviparous. Normally, only the top-ranking “alpha” male and female in each pack breed once each year. Litters are born from early April into May, and they generally include four to six pups. They are reared in dens by the entire wolf pack.

Fun facts: Wolves have an extraordinary sense of smell that allows them to hunt at night . Wolves (canis lupus) are the largest species in the canid family. They tend to be quite shy and suspicious of humans because, unlike dogs, they have not been domesticated.
