We are pleased to announce that IES García Morato will officially take part in Erasmus Days 2025, a Europe-wide campaign that celebrates the values and benefits of the Erasmus+ programme.
The event will take place on October 16th under the title: “Open Spaces, Open Minds. Learning Beyond Walls”. It will also serve as the official launch of our new Erasmus+ project: “Transforming Educational Spaces in a Sustainable Way.” With this project, our school aims to rethink how we use and design learning spaces so that they become more sustainable, inclusive, and inspiring.
During the day, we will hold an opening speech to present the project to our community and highlight the values of Erasmus+, followed by a student-led exhibition with ideas and proposals to redesign school spaces from an ecological and sustainable perspective. In addition, we will be sharing highlights of the event through our Instagram account and our digital platforms.
We look forward to celebrating this day with the entire educational community, taking the first step in our new Erasmus+ journey!

Just two days ago, the provisional results of the Erasmus+ projects selected for the upcoming school year were published — and we’d like to share an important update with our educational community.
Our school submitted the project “Transforming Educational Spaces in a Sustainable Way”, focused on student mobility and aimed at rethinking school spaces with a more ecological, inclusive, and participative approach. Our project had already been accepted, but for now, we are on the waiting list. This means that although our project has passed the evaluation stage, it is currently waiting for a possible opening or budget reallocation. There is no guarantee, but the project remains active and with a chance of being selected.
We truly believe in the value of what we’ve proposed — and more importantly, in the energy of our students and the commitment of our teachers to keep working toward international, sustainable, and innovative learning experiences. So we’ll stay hopeful, keep preparing, and continue building connections that may help bring this project to life if the opportunity arises.
Thank you for your support and trust. We’re still moving forward — full of hope and excitement!
