St Mary's RC Primary School is situated in an urban setting, serving the town of Haddington in East Lothian. We currently have 112 children in our school from a maximum roll of 125 and 56 in the nursery which has capacity for 80 nursery children. The school is relatively small and consists of P1-7 in 5 composite classes. Our school is part of a larger campus that is shared with Haddington Primary School. Our building consists of a nursery together with five classrooms, a Support for Learning classroom, a general purpose classroom, a library, numerous break out spaces and shared PE, canteen and playground spaces. Composition of classes is decided on an annual basis. For physical education and other curricular areas, we also use the playing fields located next to the school and the wider area around us. We work closely with our families and local community to help improve outcomes for our children. Children in our local catchment progress to Knox Academy.
